We're giving away 2,000 AED in real cash. Not cashback, not points — actual money, straight to one winner. All you have to do is eat out like you normally would.

The Short Version

Dine at any Places UAE cashback restaurant, pay through the app with your card, and enter promo code WIN2K at checkout. Every 50 AED you spend earns you one entry into the draw. Spend more, eat more, get more entries. One person walks away with 2,000 AED cash.

How to Enter

  1. Open the Places app.
  2. Dine at any cashback restaurant on the platform.
  3. Pay through Places using your card.
  4. Enter promo code WIN2K at checkout.
  5. Every 50 AED spent = 1 entry, so a 150 AED bill gets you 3 entries.
  6. There's no cap — the more you dine, the better your odds.

The Rules, in Plain English

Nothing sneaky here, just the details that keep it fair:

  • Payment has to be by card through the app. Wallet balance or points payments don't count toward entries.
  • You need to actually apply promo code WIN2K on the transaction — it won't count otherwise.
  • Entries are calculated per 50 AED spent, rounded down. A 90 AED bill gets you 1 entry, not 2.
  • No limit on how many times you can enter. Dine as often as you like across the competition window.
  • The winner is picked at random from all valid entries and will be contacted via WhatsApp.
  • The prize is 2,000 AED cash, handed over in person or sent by bank transfer.
  • Places UAE employees and their immediate families can't enter — sorry, team.
  • If the winner doesn't respond within 48 hours of being contacted, we'll draw a new winner.

Why This Works in Your Favour

You're already earning cashback on every meal at a Places partner restaurant. This competition stacks on top of that — applying promo code WIN2K adds an extra 5 AED cashback to your usual amount, plus you get entered into the draw for a shot at 2,000 AED. All for doing what you'd do anyway: eating out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to spend a minimum amount to enter?

You need to spend at least 50 AED on a single transaction to earn one entry. There's no maximum — every additional 50 AED adds another entry.

Does the prize replace my usual cashback?

No. Your normal cashback still applies as usual, and applying promo code WIN2K adds an extra 5 AED cashback on top of it. The competition entry itself is separate again — you get your usual cashback, the 5 AED bonus, and a shot at the 2,000 AED prize.

Can I enter more than once?

Yes. There's no limit on entries — every qualifying transaction with code WIN2K during the competition window counts.

How will I know if I won?

The winner is contacted directly via WhatsApp on the number linked to their Places account. Keep an eye on your messages after October 1, 2026.
